INTRODUCTION

The Vernon Jr. 'A' Hockey Franchise and the League in which they play, is or has been eligible to play for many Trophies. The Trophies include the Nat Bailey Cup, Subway Cup, Fred Page Cup, Doyle Cup, Abbott Cup, Western Canada Cup, Memorial Cup, Manitoba Centennial Trophy, Royal Bank Cup, RBC Royal Bank Cup, RBC Cup and Centennial Cup.

    - competed for from 1985 to 2012
    - reinstated for 2018 to 2021

  • Emblematic of the Western Canadian Championship

    - retired to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1999

BCHL NOT ELIGIBLE

As of March 24, 2021, the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) had withdrawn its membership from the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) so, is no longer eligible to play in the National Junior A hockey playdowns.

On Monday, May 1, 2023, the British Columbia Hockey League announced it will not renew the league's agreement with Hockey Canada, meaning it will be an independent league operateing outside Hockey Canada's system (Non-Sanctioned League) as of June 1, 2023.
