1996 British Columbia Junior Hockey League Playoffs
PLAYOFF FORMAT
- The top three teams in each Division and one
wildcard team will participate in the Playoffs.
(The wildcard team will be the remaining team
with the most points).
- THE 1ST ROUND: will be a best of three
mini-series between the 3rd place teams and the
wildcard team, paired by the closest
geogrphically.
- THE 2ND ROUND: will be a best of seven with
the remaining eight teams. The Regular Season
Champions of each Division will select their
opponents with the Champion that had the most
points having first choice.
- THE 3RD ROUND: will be a best of seven with
the remaining four teams. The team with the most
regular season points will have their choice of
opponents.
- THE 4TH & FINAL ROUND: will be a best of
seven between the remaining two teams.
