2011 British Columbia Hockey League Playoffs

PLAYOFF FORMAT

Ties are broken as follows:
The following tiebreakers are applied in order to determine the standings when two teams have an even number of points:
Most wins; most points acquired in games played between tied teams; superior goal differential from games played between tied teams; superior goal differential from overall games played.

BCHL Playoffs 2011 , all best-of-seven series. The top seven teams from the Coastal and Interior Conferences will qualify. The top team in each Conference will receive an automatic bye into the second round.

First-round matchups will be based on order of finish within the respective Conference. The first round will be organized as follows:

  • Second seed vs. Seventh seed
  • Third seed vs. Sixth seed
  • Fourth seed vs. Fifth seed

In the second round, the bye team will face the lowest-seeded team to emerge from the opening round.

BCHL (Fred Page Cup), Coastal Conference Champion vs Interior Conference Champion - Each year the Series alternates between Conferences, - 2011 will begin in the Coastal Conference. - Winner will advance to the Doyle Cup, BCHL vs AJHL

DOYLE CUP (BC vs AB), best of 7 - Each year the Doyle Cup alternates between Leagues, - 2011 will begin in the BCHL (British Columbia). - Winner will advance to the Royal Bank Cup Tournament (National Championship)
