2002 British Columbia Hockey League Playoffs
PLAYOFF FORMAT
- The eight teams in the Coastal Conference,top
four of each Division, along with the top six
teams in the Interior Conference will participate
in the Playoffs.
- THE 1ST ROUND: will be a best of seven series
between the four teams of each Division of the
Coastal Conference where, 1 vs 4, 2 vs 3. The
Interior Conference will be a best of seven
series by the top six teams where 1 vs 6, 2 vs 5
& 3 vs 4. The highest seeded team, from the
remaining teams, of the Interior Conference
recieves a 'bye' to the 3rd round.
- THE 2ND ROUND: will be a best of seven with
the remaining four teams from the Coastal
Conference where the highest seeded team plays
the lowest seeded team and so on. The two
remaining teams of the Interior Conference will
play in a best of seven series.
- THE 3RD ROUND: will be a best of seven with
the remaining two teams from each Conference.
- THE FINAL ROUND: will be a best of seven
between the remaining two teams.
