NOTE: The validity of the name Rockets seems to be contraversial. Some sources still refer to them as the Lakers. I have listed them here as the Rockets until I find proof they were in fact know as the Lakers. I you can supply that PROOF please, do so!
For the 1983-84 season the Vernon franchise was known as the Vernon Rockets. They had an extremly good season winning forty-five games but, lost in the first round of the playoffs, 4 games to 2.
