Allan Alexander passed away peacefully at Vernon Jubilee Hospital on November 27th 2025, at the age of 76 years.

AI is survived by Merna, his wife of 57 years and son Kane (Jennifer) and their two children Ryan and Summer (Calvin) and sister Lynne of Vernon.

Allan's life was surrounded by family and the many life long friends from his years of hockey, fastball, slowpitch, golf and curling. AI was Manager for over 30 years of fun and social activities at the Lumby Curling Club. His bi-polar diagnosis may have slowed him down in the past few years but his sense of humor, infectious laugh and endless stories continued throughout his life.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to Dr. Harper, Dr. Petorius, Dr. Lamprecht, and the staff at Vernon Jubilee Hospital for their amazing care of AI, and to Tane who walked every step with support and care during Al's journey.

The family are respecting Allan's wishes and having a family gathering at his home, sometime during the warm days of summer.

NOTE: Al played for the Vernon Essos for the 1967-68 & 1968-69 seasons, he was a goalie.
