JIM HUGHSON AWARD
Named after the longtime NHL broadcaster who started out calling games for the Penticton Vees and the Kelowna Buckaroos of the BCJHL in the 1970s.
Renamed the Jim Hughson Award in 2022 for the 2023 season.
A vote is conducted among the league's broadcasters at the conclusion of the regular season. Criteria for the award includes broadcast skill, professionalism and work beyond the booth.
